The Central Theatre, Chatham are very excited to welcome back Joe Tracini and Ian Good for this year’s fabulous festive family treat – Dick Whittington and his Cat.
It will be three in a row for Joe who once again returns home to Medway, this time to play Idle Jack, the lazy son of Sarah the Cook – played by panto veteran Ian Good. The pair teamed up last year in the smash hit, Sleeping Beauty, and we’re delighted that they’re back as another panto mother and son combo.
Joe is known to many for his time on Hollyoaks as Dennis Savage and is currently filming his second series of the hit CBBC show The Dengineers. He played Patsy in the UK tour of Spamalot and is also a member of The Magic Circle.
Ian has appeared in over 35 pantomimes as well as performing in and directing many stage musicals and plays. You might also recognise him as one half of the Bounty kitchen roll competitive housewives, Brenda and Audrey – having starred in their TV ads for 7 years.
Joe and Ian will join star of stage and screen, Ray Quinn, who plays the title role whose quest to see his fortune on the streets of London takes him across the seven seas to Morocco!
Will our hero defeat the evil King Rat and his gang of vile vermin? Will Alice Fitzwarren lose her heart to this handsome hunk from Gloucester? Will Sarah the Cook suffer yet another soggy bottom? Will the streets of London really be paved with gold?
Find out in this classic pantomime full of live music, dazzling dance routines, rip-roaring and swashbuckling adventure, guaranteed to be another Chatham panto hit.
Dick Whittington and his cat is at Central Theatre, Chatham from Friday 7 December 2018 until Monday 31 December 2018.
